Asphalt Cinema Offers Free Family Fun
Children’s activities take place as the sun goes down for a free movie under the stars on the third Fridays of June, July, and August at Impett Park, 3207 West 153rd Street. On Fri 6/20, local merchants and non-profit organizations provide games with prizes starting at 6:30 p.m.
Then, at 7:30 p.m. learn new dance steps, keep the beat with a rhythmic instrument, sing songs, paint self-portraits or characters from the film — and more! Monsters University starts at dusk. Concessions by Four Corners Baseball stay open throughout the evening. The event is presented by Kamm’s Corners Development Corporation and sponsored by Fairview Hospital.
