The most recent addition to the small but bustling neighborhood known as the Historic Arts District adjacent to downtown Akron is the High Street Hop House. It opened in February 2017 to offer local craft beers and bourbon, along with live entertainment. With the Uncorked Wine Bar next door, Musica downstairs and Blu Jazz + just across the driveway (along with a coffee shop, ice cream emporium and indie cinema), the complex at the corner of High and Market streets is one of the most complete entertainment locations in Akron.
