It’s no secret that we here in Northeast Ohio share a passion for locally-produced food and drinks. Since before written history, humans have been using nature to get inebriated. Author Amy Stewart’s presentation on her latest book, The Drunken Botanist: The Plants That Create The World’s Great Drinks, at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History will explain how leaves, fruit, flowers, seeds, bark and roots are used to create alcohol. Science has never been so much fun.
