Every year, SPACES hosts their annual Monster Drawing Rally to benefit the gallery and their efforts. Every year, 100+ local and regional artists are selected by 10 guest curators to draw for one hour each. All the works created are sold for a flat $65 – with all sales benefiting SPACES.
This year, Cool Cleveland’s own Josh Usmani has designed the official promotional image, and serves as one of the 10 guest curators. He’ll also be drawing live during the evening. You can read his thoughts on the MDR on SPACES’ Blog. Be sure to stop by and say “hi.”
Additionally, the event features the Li’l Monster Drawing Rally section for children under 18 to sit, draw and exhibit their work for the evening (or weekend).
This is an art event unlike anything else in town. Don’t miss it.
