No one is hurting for food choices in Ohio City. In early 2017, a new one cropped up joining the neighborhood’s bustling food scene. Pizza Whirl’s space is plain but the menu is not. Fresh dough is hand-stretched, topped and sauced to customer’s order, with two dozen toppings available to go on the pie before it’s shoveled into the spinning oven.
While (very reasonably priced) handmade pizzas are the staple, look for occasional additions to the menu, including sweet pizzas, pasta bowls, salads and tabouli.
