As Northeast Ohio continues to grow and evolve, both community leaders and local residents recognize the importance of making environmentally conscious decisions. With all the changes taking place, it’s more important than ever to consider the long-term ramifications of our actions today.
The Holden Arboretum hosts guest speaker Bryant C Scharenbroch, Urban Soil Scientist at The Morton Arboretum. His lecture, Urban Soil Assessment and Management for Tree Growth and Longevity, will discuss his soil research at the Morton, and the importance of urban trees socially, economically and (of course) environmentally. Come learn more at Holden Arboretum this weekend!
