Grab a Beer & Learn the Math Behind Collective Animal Behavior @MarketGardenCLE

Mon 2/10 @ 7pm

Market Garden hosts the latest Science Café this week – featuring Alethea Barbaro, Ph. D., Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Barbaro’s lecture, Moving as with One Mind: Mathematical Models for Collective Animal Behavior, looks at how groups of animals “flock” and “swarm” as one solid entity. This math-based viewpoint offers a unique perspective into psychology.  Be sure to stop by Market Garden on Monday night, grab a delicious beverage and settle in for a lecture that helps you see the world from a new perspective.
