BAYarts invites you to an opening reception for local artist John Nativio’s latest solo exhibition, Conjoined Human Parts. Nativio’s show is curated by Ross Lesko, and will examine interpretation of the human figure through paintings, drawings and sculpture.
Nativio’s work has been featured in more than 70 museum and gallery shows – including over 70 juried exhibitions! The focus of this show is on subjective abstraction and interpretation of the figure through the mind of the artist.
The artist will speak about his work from 6:30-7:30pm at the reception. BAYarts will also host a special figure drawing workshop with Nativio on Sat 1/18 from 10am-4:30pm.
