Scottish poet Robert Burns is a true legend. Even if you don’t know his name, you’ve probably read/heard his work. His most famous piece may be “Auld Lang Syne.”
This weekend, the Scottish Heritage Association hosts a very special celebration of Burns’ 255th birthday. The evening will include a special dinner, readings of Burns’ work (including Address to the Haggis) and performances by Plaid Sabbath, The Red Hackle Pipes and Drums, The 87th Cleveland Pipes and Drums, Lochaber Pipe Band, The Heather Bells and Cellidh and ballroom dancing to the music of The Clansmen II.
Traditional Scottish attire is encouraged. Don’t miss this celebration of Scottish heritage and culture.
