One Hour, One Work @MOCACleveland

Wed 11/13 @ 1pm

Contemporary art may move quickly, but there are great benefits to slowing down to interpret it. This pilot adult educational program invites participants to intentionally reduce their “speed reading” and take time to “deep dive” into a single work currently on view at MOCA Cleveland. Each session a museum educator will select a different work of art and set a timer for sixty minutes of focused looking, conversation, consideration, interpretation, and understanding. Flex your art endurance and find out how rewarding extended time with an artwork can be.

This event is free with museum admission, but reservations are recommended (Maximum participants: 15).  One Hour, One Work takes place at MOCA on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (Additional dates: Dec 11th, Jan 8th, Feb 12th).
