LBM, cocktail bar and kitchen, calls itself “Your friendly neighborhood Viking cocktail bar,” and it’s definitely going for a certain ambience, kind of rough and medieval.
Opened in late 2016, LBM features cocktails with names like “Waves of Desolation,” “Conquerors from the North,” “Reanimate the Fallen” and “Savage Blade,” that suggest the titles of songs on a heavy metal album — and that’s not by accident. A small but diverse menu features modern Americans food: burgers, clams, fried chicken, oysters, poutine, pork belly and even vegan pad thai and salad (that’s not very Viking!) Beer and mead are also on the drink list.
LBM is open Monday-Saturday until 2:30AM.
