Sat 11/9 – 11/11
This weekend, Lakewood Public Library is all about Legos. First the Lakewood Lego Block Party invites kids to build their Lego masterpiece at home and bring it to the Children’s desk at either the Main Library or the Madison Branch between Sat 11/9 – Mon 11/11. Library staff will display your creations for all of Lakewood to see! (Don’t worry. You can take your creation home after Mon 11/25).
Sunday at 6pm, kids can use LPL’s collection of Lego bricks and their own imagination to create fabulous new structures and designs, meet other building fans and check out our large collection of Lego books. There is no registration for this program; however numbered tickets will be available 30 minutes before each scheduled time. One ticket will be issued per child. Tickets are picked up on a first come, first served basis each week.
These events are FREE and open to the public – kids grades K-5.
