It’s no secret that Talespinner Children’s Theatre has won us over. How could they not? This theatre troupe, consisting of a variety of local actors, has heart. See what we mean when you take your kids to their latest production — Adventures in Slumberland.
Based on the characters of Winsor McCay, Adventures is set on the night on before Christmas, 1905. “…[A] sleeping boy’s head is full of magic as he strives to keep a play-date with his friend the Princess of Slumberland, and on the way help Santa, and maybe make the world a better place!”
Should be entertaining for kids of all ages. Tight on money? Go to a Pay What You Can Performance, offered Sun 12/1 and Fri 12/6 at 7pm. Shows run Fridays at 1 & 7pm; Saturdays 2 & 7pm; and Sundays at 2pm @ the Reinberger Auditorium in the Gordon Square Arts District.
