Get Your Art Fix at Valley Art Center’s Juried Art Show – 42 Years Strong

Fri 11/1 @ 6pm

With a long tradition in the Chagrin Valley, the Annual Juried Art Show – now in its 42nd year – enjoys continued support from the community and local and regional artists. Historically, the Valley Art Center receives approximately 275-300 pieces of artwork, including both 2D and 3D works. The entries are juried to approximately 100 pieces. Last year’s exhibition represented mediums such as oil, watercolor, found objects, photography, graphite, clay, monoprints, wood cuts and hand cut paper.

This year’s jurors are Lissa Bockrath-Shapiro, founder of Bockrath Gallery; CIA grad Dana Depew, KSU grad and founder of Tremont’s legendary Asterisk Gallery; and Lynne Lofton, a ceramicist and instructor who graduated from CIA.  Awards will be presented at 7pm.

This event is free and open to the public. Show runs through December 13th. Additional Hours: Mon-Fri 10am-4pm, Sat 10am-2pm, closed Sundays.
