This year, Now That’s Class’s West Side Punks Connect event is only one day instead of a weekend. But they are planning to pack a lot into that day.
From 1-5 pm, there’s a pre-show BBQ at Edgewater Park (upper level) with meat and veggies and whatever else you bring. Yankee Peddler (Tony from western Massachusetts punk band SQRM) will play acoustic old-time and bluegrass music. It’s free.
The main event at the club starts at 7pm with a packed evening of punk and hardcore bands playing on multiple stages. The lineup: Toronto’s S.H.I.T., Vegetative State and Axebomber from Columbus, Boston’ MFP, World Domination from Western Massachusetts (featuring Tony from SQRM in his second appearance of the day), and locals Obnox, Nekrofilth, Cruelster, Party Plates, Cracked Cup, Hysteria, and Mr. California & His Parma Quartet.
Admission is $10. East Side and South Side punks are welcome too.
