Opposites Attract at the Morgan

Sat 10/5 @ 6pm

Opposites Attract is the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation’s 6th annual benefit and silent auction – and it’s sure to be their best yet.  Organizers promise the party of the year with complimentary hot and cold appetizers and a cash bar with mixed drinks, wine, beer, specialty cocktails and more!  They will have live music and demonstrations of hand papermaking, letterpress printing and bookbinding.

The main event of the evening will be the silent auction – featuring approximately 200 works from local, national and international artists.  Auction items are split into three categories: donated artwork of all types, Snail Mail Paper Trail (works created by transforming one or two sheets of Morgan handmade paper) and other great items such as gift certificates, jewelry, gift baskets and more!

Featured artists include Emily Martin, Clare Murray Adams, Amanda Degener, Bridgette O’Malley and Beatrice Coron.

In just six years, the Morgan has become one of the finest artistic and cultural institutions in the region.  Saturday is a fun opportunity to support everything they do all year.  If you’ve never been before, take this opportunity to check out one of Cleveland’s best kept secrets. Tickets are $25 for Non-Members, $20 for Members; children 12 & under are free.
