This Friday Melt Bar & Grilled and Cleveland Cinemas present two midnight movies – Labyrinth @ the Apollo Theatre in Oberlin and Fight Club @ Cedar Lee Theatre in Cleveland Heights.
Labyrinth is Jim Henson’s cult-classic masterpiece starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie. Connelly is a 15-year-old babysitter who has to rescue her baby half-brother from the Goblin King (Bowie) after she wishes him away in a moment of frustration. She has 13 hours to complete a labyrinth filled with Jim Henson’s unique brand of oddities in order to save her baby brother.
The first rule of Fight Club is you don’t talk about Fight Club… (starring Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, Helena Bonham Carter, Jared Leto and Meatloaf). If you still haven’t seen it, you don’t want to miss it! Fight Club is the rare sort of movie that seems to get better every time. You’re sure to get something new out of each viewing.
