Sat 9/28 @ 7pm
Locally-based international record label Experimedia and MOCA Cleveland have teamed up to present a series of events showcasing eclectic artists who combine music, video, installation and performance into holistic experiences. This Saturday’s event features Eleh and Duane Pitre.
Eleh specializes in analog sound, experimenting with low frequencies and acoustic resonance. Eleh explores the textural sounds of the physical world. Duane Pitre is an American avant-garde composer, sound artist and performer. His work often explores the dichotomy of electronic sound and acoustic instrumentation, chaos and discipline and site-specific noise. For this performance, Eleh and Duane will perform together as Pitreleh.
The evening will open with HolyKindOf creating dense layers of hypnotic sound featuring live, processed cello and found audio.
Tickets are $8 for MOCA members and students (With Valid ID) / $10 for non-members.
