Fri 9/27 @ 12:15pm
Cleveland State’s current Artist-in-Residence, Przemyslaw Jasielski, stops by Cleveland Institute of Art for their latest Lunch on Fridays lecture. Every Friday, CIA invites the public to spend their lunch hour learning about the latest trends in art and design.
Jasielski is a native of Poland currently working on an upcoming exhibition at The Galleries at Cleveland State in conjunction with his current residency. He is also involved with The Sculpture Center and CSU’s Sculpture students during his stay.
He approaches his creative process with the attitude of an engineer – with precise planning and scientific and mathematical research. However, he focuses on the conceptual content more than techniques or materials. It is his intent which separates him as an artist, as opposed to an engineer.
This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Located in the Ohio Bell Auditorium in CIA’s George Gund Building.
