SPACES Gallery hosts a gallery talk this Thursday with one of its currently exhibiting artists Mimi Kato and the Cleveland Metroparks’ Invasive Plants Coordinator Jennifer Hillmer. They will discuss invasive plants in our region — the difficulties they present to ecosystems, how they got here, what methods are used to control them and what possibilities there might be for using plant material in new ways. Kato’s current installation at SPACES is in conjunction with an installation inside Cleveland Metroparks.
The exhibition and gallery talk are FREE and open to the public. Kato’s exhibition runs through October 18th. Additional Hours: Tuesday-Sunday Noon-5pm (except Thursdays Noon-8pm), closed Mondays.
