Cleveland-Based sculptor Giancarlo Calicchia is known for his massive stone sculptures; he’s worked in bronze and wood as well. And for those not in need of a large-scale artwork, like his public art pieces on display at places like Kent State University, the University of Cincinnati and Cuyahoga Community College, he’s also created a line of necklaces featuring various precious and semi-precious stones and coral. But his space in Tremont is also a gallery that shows not only his own work but also that of such respected area artists as Douglas Max Utter.
