Noble Beast, a project of former Platform Beer brewer Shaun Yasaki and former Spice Catering chef James Redford, opened in 2017 in an offbeat location: a former storage facility Lakeside Avenue at E. 14th. As a result, unlike many breweries, which focus on beer and bring in food from nearby restaurants, Noble Beast devotes as much care to its food menu of bar food as its made-onsite brews.
