The Rialto Theatre opened in Akron’s Kenmore neighborhood in 1919, and after 100 years, it’s undergone many changes, from variety theater, to movie house, to abandoned. That is, until brothers Nate and Seth Vaill restored the place and reopened in 2015 as a multi-use entertainment facility. It contains two recording studios and a live room with a stage, lighting, sound and a full bar, available for concerts, comedy shows, theater productions, special events and parties.
