Downtown Kent is burgeoning, and among other things, it’s attracted a branch of Akron’s Bricco. The Kent outpost opened in January 2014, and it’s open for lunch and dinner seven days, with a Sunday brunch as well. The vegetarian-friend menu’s similar, with upscale but not overly pricey appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and entrees heavy on pastas like spinach florentine ravioli and rotini with spinach, olives, pine nuts, feta and roasted tomatoes — chicken optional. A heated outdoor patio extends the al fresco season.
