For two decades, House of Blues clubs across the country have hosted their non-denominational Sunday gospel brunches.
Apparently, they needed some freshening up. So the chain had contemporary gospel music star Kirk Franklin put together an all-new show, which will debut at the clubs across the country, including Cleveland, on Mother’s Day.
“His aim is for Gospel Brunch guests be treated to an uplifting live music and dining spectacle that will bring them to their feet, have them clapping, singing and creating unforgettable memories,” says the HoB release.
Undoubtedly that means infusing the music with the modern pop, R&B, and hop hop influences that have made Franklin so popular with audiences of all ages.
The all-you-can-eat brunch is heavy on southern favorites like cornbread muffins, shrimp jambalaya, and chicken and waffles.
Tickets are $38 for adults, $29 for seniors, $18 kids 6-12.
The brunch will take place once a month.
