More Mozart with Uchida at Severance Hall

Thu 4/3 @ 8PM

Fri 4/5 @ 8PM

Sat 4/6 @ 8PM

Pianist/conductor Mitsuko Uchida, the Cleveland Orchestra, and Mozart are a familiar troika to area classical music fans.

Uchida was artist in residence for the orchestra from 2002 through 2007 when she performed all of Mozart’s piano concertos, conducting from the piano.

This weekend at Severance Hall, she’ll perform (and conduct) Mozart’s Piano Concertos No. 17 and No. 25, plus his Divertimento in B-flat major.

An hour prior to each performance, Pierre van der Westhuizen, the executive director of the Cleveland international Piano Competition, will give a concert preview talk for ticketholders in the Reinberger Chamber Hall in Severance Hall.

Tickets are $45-$165.
