Montreal-based jazz singer Susie Arioli makes her Cleveland debut tonight at Nighttown. She’s had quite a bit of success in her native Canada over the last decade and a half but hasn’t made much of a splash south of the border yet.
Her latest album, All the Way, includes a bunch of tunes you’ll know — “My Funny Valentine, “Come Rain or Come Shine,” and a bunch of tunes associated with Frank Sinatra, the title tune among them. Her sultry, knowing way with an old standard seems to have sashayed out of an upscale New York nightspot in the ’50s. She’ll be accompanied by her quartet, led by her longtime guitarist and music director Jordan Officer. Tickets are $15.
