Annual Reggae Brunch at the Parkview

Sun 2/10 @ 11AM

Detroit-Shoreway’s Parkview Nite Club is primarily known for booking some of the area’s best blues bands (and occasional out-of-town) bands on weekends and its Wednesday night blues jam.

Once a year, however, the club is turned over to Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band for the annual reggae brunch. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., patrons can enjoy the sunny good vibes that have made Carlos one of the area’s favorite performers for 30 years, while chowing down on pancakes, French toast, burritos, and eggs Wellington. There’s free Wifi so you can blog about the show as it’s going on. Just be careful not to get hash browns in your keyboard. The events runs until 8 p.m. Cover is $5.

You’ve got the time wrong. Carlos STARTS at 3pm!
