Tucked away behind the storefronts on West 25th you’ll find a sign that says “Glass Blowing — Public Welcome” painted on the building. The door is usually open so you can poke your head in and see what’s being fired up in the kiln. The Glass Bubble Project is a working studio and classroom for anyone to create blown glass works of art. It also features shelves of items made right there available for purchase — a great gift and you may even be talking to the artist who made it.
