Collision Bend Brewery

When the Watermark restaurant closed in the early 00s, the busy restaurant had been a long-time landmark in the East Bank of the Flats. Finally the long-empty space re-opened as (guess what!) a brewery, when Collision Bend Brewery opened its doors in spring 2017.

The people behind the artisanal brewery are Andy Dombrowski, who worked at Zach Bruell’s restaurants, and brewer Luke Purcell who was at Great Lakes Brewing Company for two decades. The large space boasts a nautical design and a riverfront patio to blend in with its riverside location. It couples its in-house beers and those from other local breweries such as Platform, Fat Head’s and GLBC with what it calls “California street food” — lots of small plates, a variety of pizzas and a dozen reasonably priced heartier entrees, all using local, fresh ingredients.

In addition, it’s added a production facility, taproom and kitchen in Euclid where you can enjoy your craft brew with clam chowder, chili, pizza, tacos, burgers and wraps.
