The Largest Conservation Project in Ohio?

No shopping centers or housing developments popping up here. A Trumbull County couple donated nearly 3,100 acres of land in Ashtabula, Trumbull and Mercer Counties (PA) to the Western Reserve Land Conservancy to be permanently preserved for farming and as woodlands. It’s believed this is the largest conservation project in Ohio of its kind — privately owned land permanently protected with conservation easements.
