Sculptural Meditations: Walking the Way of the Cross

On view Wed 2/22 – Fri 4/6

On view Ash Wednesday through Good Friday is a modern interpretation of Jesus’ Passion. Walking the Way of the Cross is a contemporary art exhibit created by Rev. Thomas Faulkner of New York, both a sculptor and Episcopal priest. His work was inspired by his on-site work at Ground Zero, following the 9/11 attacks. Faulkner uses ordinary objects, such as suitcases, TVs, and ironing boards to tell Christ’s story, “examine the war in Iraq, the battle at Little Bighorn and other atrocities and tragedies.”

Guided walks will be offered:
Wed 2/22 following each Ash Wednesday service. Services are held at 7:30AM, noon and 6PM.
Thu 2/23 – Fri 2/24: 10AM, 1PM and 6PM.
Sun 2/25: 10AM.

This Ohio Premiere is free and open to the public! For docent-led and self-guided walks, contact Adam Spencer at aspencer@dohio.org or 216-774-0418. The exhibit is on view from Wed 2/22 – Fri 4/6.
