Brite Winter Festival is coming back for its third year; easily “back by popular demand.” This event sums up what Cleveland is — celebrating the arts, community, neighborhoods and active nature of our Cleveland residents. The festival is even bigger this year, taking over Ohio City through scattered outdoor and indoor venues, boasting of Cleveland’s top musicians — Bad Veins, Tom Evanchuck & the Old Money, Black Taxi, Lighthouse & the Whaler, Bethesda, Womack Family Band and so many, SO MANY! more.
Buy a mug and flit between venues, getting discounts on hot chocolate, beer or your drink of choice. There are 8 separate venues with over 30 music performances. Don’t come ready to sit around either; there are plenty of things to do. From a giant skee-ball, to “the smashdown” game, you will be entertained. Featured artist Kasumi will display her video art, “Mid-winter’s Stereopticon,” as well.
This event is run by a 100% volunteer committee, and is FREE ADMISSION. It is put together by the Brite Winter Steering Committee with assistance from Bad Racket Recording Studio, the Grog Shop and the Beachland Ballroom.
Take advice from an old friend: this is an event you should not miss!
