There was a fire at Holden Arboretum on Monday, which destroyed its facilities maintenance building. Holden Police Office Tony Piotrowski spotted the fire while conducting a routine check of the grounds and called Kirtland Fire Dept., which responded w/ help from 11 other departments. As of this post, the cause has yet to be determined. The building included workspace for vehicle maintenance and metal and carpentry workshops. A dollar amount of the damage is yet to be available.
