VIDEO: Emerging Chefs Take Over Cleveland

In the spirit of the movie My Dinner with Andre, eavesdrop with Carol Drummond on some stimulating dinner conversation of key players at Emerging Chefs, a new monthly program to showcase Cleveland’s culinary superstars. They dined at the chef’s table at Dante in Tremont, right in the middle of a busy Friday night rush. This conversation is much more energizing than that old 1980’s flick though, and is teeming with ideas and energy about past, present and future Emerging Chefs events.

Emerging Chefs is a group of local food enthusiasts planning and promoting regular events themed around unusual venues and culinary trends, while featuring one or more of Cleveland’s emerging chef talent.

Co-Founder and Partner David Allen Moss of Moss Media, the design force behind the venture, shares his vision of how attention to all the details surrounding each event makes for a cohesive and intriguing experience. Cleveland’s Tech Czar Michael DeAloia, also Co-Founder and Partner of Emerging Chefs, chimes in with passion for the food scene in NEO and schemes for future events. Emerging Chef Matt Mytro, Chef/Owner of StoveMonkeys.com, whets our appetite with tidbits of what’s on the menu and the inspiration behind his choices.

Although the January Aphrodisiacs event at The Velvet Tango Room is sold out, you can find out more about future Emerging Chefs’ events here.
