Tropidelic’s New Year’s Eve East Side Bash

Fri 12/31 @ 7PM

The weather may be frighteningly cold, but that’s OK. Warm up @ the Beachland Ballroom w/ the paradise-infused sounds of local reggae fusion band Tropidelic. Spend New Year’s Eve basking in the glow of positive vibrations & upbeat party tunes. Get your groove on, Midwest island style.

About Tropidelic:

The often frigid Lake Erie shores would appear to be an unlikely breeding ground for the warm, funk-infused groove of reggae-rockers Tropidelic, but as singer Matthew Roads explains, this Cleveland-based band is determined to crumble the walls of a genre while stimulating a new generation of creative minds. “In today’s reggae-rock scene, many acts tend to fall in line,” Roads says. “We pride ourselves on our musical diversity and do not compromise what we do or who we are in order to ‘fit the mold.’” That approach recently earned Tropidelic the title of Best Cleveland Area Band from Fox 8’s Hotlist, but Roads and his bandmates have their sights set even higher.
