Maelstrom Collabortive Arts used to be Theatre Ninjas, but they’ve left plain old “theater” in the rearview mirror.
Now established in their own proprietary location on Gordon Square, the ensemble lets it all hang loose with what they describe as “spontaneous creation.” Their upcoming event is called Freeform, which pretty much describes — or doesn’t describe — what will happen, because who the heck knows. Each night will be completely different as artists include Melaragno, MariSoul and Annie Krol improvise performances dubbed “part happening, part jam session.”
