Waterloo Arts Re-Opens with Its Annual DayGlo Show

Fri 9/4 @ 6-9PM

The DayGlo art show, where area artists create some incredibly diverse and interesting work using paints from the Cleveland-based DayGlo Color Corp. has been going on for seven years, most recently at Waterloo Arts in the Waterloo Arts District. The 8th edition was scheduled for this year and it WILL be happening, just in a socially distanced manner.

This year, more than 30 artists, including a few from around the world, will be contributing work to this year’s show. And you CAN visit the show, which is displayed in a dark gallery to better show off the glowing colors: it’s very psychedelic, in a family-friendly way! There’ll be a limited on the number of people in the gallery at once so you’ve got to sign up for a free ticket to reserve your slot here. Masks are required and walk-ins will be admitted if the gallery hasn’t reached capacity.

In addition, Waterloo Arts is offering a DayGlo show T-shirt, created by Anthony Zart and Rocket E3, to benefit its arts programming. Go to their website to learn more, or purchase one at the gallery.
