Ohio City Speaks: Transportation Past, Present & Future at Transformer Station

Wed 6/12 @ 6:30PM

Psyched for scooters? Giddy for the (Red Line) Greenway? Sentimental for the streetcars of yore? Or just want to learn more about bicycling in Ohio City and Greater Cleveland?

Join us for an informal event discussing Ohio City’s alternative transportation of the past, present, and future. The event will feature brief, interactive talks followed by an open panel discussion. We’ll learn about how innovative and interesting methods for getting from “here” to “there” impact our community’s rich history, exciting present, and bright future. Panelists include:

Shari Shapiro, Lime: Electric scooters & Cleveland

Jim Sheehan, Ohio City Bicycle Co-op: Cleveland’s growing biking community

Judy MacKeigan, Cleveland Metroparks Historian: Cleveland’s streetcar history

Lennie Stover, Red Line Greenway: The present & future of the Red Line Greenway

Meet friends and neighbors at the Transformer Station on West 29th Street, with presentations beginning at 6:30pm. It’s free; you can register here.
