Arts Organization Introduces New ED at Nighttown Networking Event

Tue 10/1 @ 5:30-8:30PM

The Columbus-based Ohio Arts Professionals Network, founded in 1960, describes its mission as “to provide programs and services that strengthen the quality and scope of the performing arts in Ohio.” Its members include artists, managers, performing arts centers, bookers and service organizations.

Recently the group announced the appointment of a new executive director, who will be familiar to many people active in the northeast Ohio music scene. Jessica Rosenblatt has booked talent for area clubs, done p.r. for Cain Park, acted as booking agent for her wife Diana Chittester, one of the area’s most gifted guitarist/vocalist/songwriters, and with Chittester started Fighting Chance Records to promote other musicians as well. Sometimes she’s done all of those things at once!

Come meet this multitasking bundle of energy at Nighttown as OAPN celebrates Rosenblatt’s hiring with a networking event featuring discussion and Q&A led by Rosenblatt about what OAPN does and how it can benefit people in the performing arts community.

Musicians, booking agents, talent buyers, dance groups, performing arts centers and other venue owners, photographers and videographers, and anyone else in the performing arts community is invited to attend the free event. There will be free appetizers and a cash bar. Seating is limited; reserve your spot here.
