Let your kids kick off the holiday weekend by getting creative at the Akron Art Museum.
Three- to five-year-olds can get messy at Tots Create — Slant, Smoosh, Reshape from 10:30pm-noon with a variety of activities to keep short attention spans engaged. They’ll wander through the galleries discovering fun things, and hear stories and songs. Then they’ll get hands-on, creating with everyday materials. Smocks will be provided, but don’t dress them in their Sunday best! Register here.
Older kids — ages 6-10 — can participate in Kids Studio Class – Tech Scrap Sculpture. Kids will get to look at contemporary art and explore its angles and meanings, then go into the studio and make a create response. Register here.
