PD’s Bill Livingston Talks About Sports Heroes at the Music Box’s Cleveland Stories

Wed 1/16 @ 7PM

Bill Livingston is one of the best-known sports journalists in Cleveland, having written on the subject for the Plain Dealer since 1984. His beats include the NBA and Ohio State Buckeyes football, but in his career he has covered golf, auto racing, hockey, baseball, tennis, soccer, Super Bowls, World Series and more. He’s also written three books about sports.

As a guest at the Music Box Supper Club’s Cleveland Stories series, he’ll talk about “Cleveland Sports Heroes I’ve Done Battle With,” talking about some of the athletic greats he’s covered and butted heads with.

As usual, the evening includes a fixed-price $20 three-course dinner themed to the topic of the evening. It will feature “Tribe chowder,” “Cavalier cavatelli” and “Brownie bar.” There’s also a regular menu. The dinner requires reservations; doors open for dinner at 5 and the program begins at 7. The program itself is free.
