June Hudson Art Hop Honors Nature & Gardens

Painting by Sarah Greer

Fri 6/14 @ 5:30-8:30PM

June is usually one of the nicest months of the year in northeast Ohio, so it’s a great time to take in a gallery hop in one of the region’s pretty little towns, Hudson. Since it’s also Hudson’s Home & Garden Tour, its galleries and artist studios have chosen the theme “Secret Gardens.”

Visit Hudson Fine Art & Framing, Fair Trade on Main, Uncommon Art Gallery & Studios, The Red Twig and Standing Rock Gallery to see work with a nature theme created by (mostly) local artists.

Hudson Fine Art & Framing will feature work made onsite during the Home & Garden Tour and host a reception for the artists. Standing Rock Gallery will be showing Minnesota-made iron and fieldstone garden sculptures inspired by global water bird sanctuaries. The Red Twig will show the work of Hudson’s Katina Pastis Radwanski while Fair Trade on Main has artwork and painted flower pots by Vickie Hoskins of Vibrant Visions. And Uncommon Art Gallery & Studios will also feature birds, with bird paintings and teabag art by Kirtland’s Dawn Gettig and flora and fauna paintings by Brunswick’s Katie Scalmato.
