CALbaret: An Evening of Song & Dance Raises Money for Youth Arts Programming

Thu 1/17 @ 6PM

The Center for Arts-Inspired Learning (formerly Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio) brings arts-related educational opportunities to students across the region.

To support their work, they’re presenting an evening they call CALbaret: An Evening of Song & Dance, taking place at Near West Theatre in Gordon Square. They’ve tapped a diverse list of musicians, dancers and theatrical performers such as the Brady Campbell Irish Dances, sax player Paul Christensen of the Michael Stanley Band, Blue Lunch guitarist/vocalist Bob Frank, Natalie Green who recently starred in Dobama’s production of Ella Enchanted, WKYC journalist Will Ujek and Gilgamesh Taggert who played Daddy Warbucks in the national tour of Annie, among others.

There’ll also be performances by ArtWorks student apprentices from the fall 2018 a cappella and theater co-ops.

Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at the door and include drinks and light munchies.
