Fear’s Confections Hosts Special Events for Fifth Lakewood “Birthaversary”

Sat 10/5 @ 11AM-9PM

We love Cassandra Fear and we love the business she’s built at Fear’s Confections, now ensconced in a storefront on Lakewood’s Madison Avenue, where she’s been for the past five years with her made-from-scratch chocolates (nerd fandom-themed chocolates are a specialty) and her brownies which at a given time might feature any of her two dozen varieties.

This Saturday she’s celebrating Fear’s fifth Birthaversary at the current location with a day-long schedule of activities. She’ll keep her normal business hours from 11am-9pm, of course, for those who want to drop in and buy chocolate, which is enough in and of itself.

But there’s also a scavenger hunt involving nearby businesses from 11am-6pm, a Cleveland Craft Coalition Market from noon-5pm, free chair massages from 3-7pm, and for the kids, free face painting from 2-4pm and free balloon creations by Balloon Bender Dave from 2:15-4:15pm. Tips are welcome for the providers of free services because they’re so great to be doing this!

There’ll also be a charity art auction with all of the proceeds going to the Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center.
