Little ones — they grow up so fast! Those snow leopard cubs born at the Cleveland Zoo last year are now fully grown, and we never got over there to see them.
But if you, like us, missed them, plan a visit to the Akron Zoo, open 10am-5pm seven days a week through October. There you can meet Baya, a female snow leopard cub born in April. She’s now out greeting visitors in her habitat daily from 10am-2pm with her mom, Shanti. (Check the snow leopard page for updates on times, and be warning — in hotter weather, these cold-loving animals may go inside to cool off).
If you oversleep and miss them, dad Tai Lung will be in the habitat after Baya and Shanti retire inside for the day. And adult snow leopards are breathtakingly beautiful too!
Adult zoo admission is $13; seniors are $11; kids 2-14 are $10.
