Local nonprofit Folknet, dedicated to promoting acoustic music, presents the third concert of its fall series with Michigan-based trio Mustard’s Retreat.
The ensemble of Libby Glover, Michael Hough and David Tamulevich is well-seasoned, having originally formed in 1975. When Glover moved away, Hough and Tamulevich performed for 40 years as a duo, releasing 14 albums, touring and performing at folk fests and other events across the country. Libby returned to Michigan in 2014 and the group picked up where it left off. They recently released their first album as a trio, titled Make Your Own Luck.
Those who like sincere, strong, upbeat, old-school acoustic music or, as they call it “music to cure what ails you,” will want to catch their show at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Lyndhurst. Tickets are $15, $12 for Folknet members.
