Cleveland Zoo Animals Welcome Visitors All Year Round, No Matter How Cold

Mon 1/7 @ 10AM-5PM

It may be the dead of winter but the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is always open — and many of the animals revel in this type of weather. You can count on the polar bears to be active, for instance, and the snow leopards thumb their noses at cold weather as well.

Another reason to seek out the snow leopards is that last May the zoo welcome three baby snow leopards. They’re teenage snow leopards now, so they should be active and full of mischief.

During the winter the zoo is open seven days from 10am-5pm. But one good reason to go on Monday is that it’s free for residents of Cuyahoga County and Hinckley. Bring ID. Otherwise it’s $14.95 for adults, $10.95 for kids 2-11.
