It takes a little scratch to run a year-round nonprofit market with its own dedicated building and now a community kitchen as well. So the Coit Road Farmers Market in East Cleveland is hosting a French toast breakfast at the market during its regular Saturday market.
Shop the market from 8am-1pm (greens, eggs, cheese, milk, meat, baked goods, spice, honey, maple syrup, plus some vegetables, are all available now) then take a break to enjoy a meal of French toast made with local eggs and topped with northeast Ohio maple syrup and butter. Wash it down with apple cider or fresh-brewed Crooked River coffee, all for $6. Bigger appetites can get an extra slice of toast plus bacon or chicken sausage for $10. Gluten-free French toast will be available too!
