Are you enchanted by butterflies and dragonflies, watching them as they flit and flutter through the summer air?
Join the naturalists of the Geauga Park District for Burgers & Butterflies, Dogs & Dragons at the Swine Creek Reservation. They’ll issue you a net and if you catch one of these flying insects you’ll get a free hamburger or hot dog from the grill. And the naturalists will be offering information about how to identify the various types, how they live and how they benefit us.
Bring sunscreen and wear long pants because you’ll be walking through fields. All ages are welcome, and some of the activities will be stroller and wheelchair accessible.
